About us.

Bcov is about finding out how God would have us live and then living that way. This affects how we treat each other and how we treat people in our community. Loving God and Loving people is what we strive to do.

We are ordinary people that are trying to make a difference for God.

The purpose of our church is to unite believers in fellowship for spiritual growth, for enlarging the kingdom of God by bringing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and for spreading the gospel (the Good News) through home and foreign missions.

Our history.

Our humble beginning

The Evangelical Covenant Church of Baudette has served the Lake of the Woods region for many years, sharing the message of Jesus Christ and ministering to the local community. As part of the Evangelical Covenant Church, a denomination founded in 1885 by Swedish immigrants, the church continues a rich heritage of biblical teaching, discipleship, worship, and outreach. Through generations of ministry, Baudette Covenant Church has remained committed to helping people grow in faith and experience the transforming love of Christ.

Meet our Pastor.

Pastor Cal Lindstrom

He grew up on a farm in northwest Minnesota and was raised in a Christian family. At the age of 11, he became a follower of Jesus Christ, a decision that has guided his life and ministry ever since. During his high school and college years, he sang in a Gospel Quartet, developing a lifelong love for worship and sharing the Gospel through music.

He attended Oak Hills Christian College before earning his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Roseville, Minnesota. He later completed a Master of Divinity degree at Providence Seminary in Otterburne, Manitoba.

He and his wife, Kristi, have been blessed with four sons and thirteen grandchildren. Outside of ministry, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and playing the guitar.
